What IF and I mean big IF, the Vrabel deal is tied to us sending our #3 pick to NE for Tom Brady and NOT Cassel? And that they are using Cassel as a smokescreen because NE views him as their QBOTF? Thoughts?

Not gonna happen. We don't have any pieces for him to work with yet. We would waste the only years he has left.

I think it's more likely we will get Shaq in a trade than Brady... just sayin

shaq would be an upgrade for the whole right side of our offensive line, he could play RG and RT at the same time. would fit right in to the patriot way

Its likely that I was around someone yesterday who has typhoon diarhea and is vomiting violently. I suppose its also possible that bloating, gurgling in my stomoch and the lump of stuff crawling up my throat is not the same.

Something tells me you masterbait with a plastic bag tied tightly over your own head.

Okay.... I will entertain this only because.... well, the Chiefs have only signed Mike Vrabel.

Do I think there is a remote possibility that this is true? No.

However..... Bill Belichick is an egomaniac. Maybe he is getting tired of Brady being the face of the franchise. He was unhappy with the way Brady handled the knee situation. He knows that if Cassel goes on to win a championship, Bill will get all the credit. So.... No, still no.

With the salary cap implications and the fact that Brady is the face of the franchise... I don't think the owner lets him get away with it...even if he wanted to.

Condsidering that anyone wishing to trade for Brady would likely have to give up 2 firsts and then more, it's not going to happen.

Let me run this by ya; and this is totally hypothetical........ but what if we could offer him some sort of stock sharing program, would that be of any interest?

WOW....what if Peyton Manning and Adrian Peterson are secretly involved as well in a 5 way trade that will give us Peyton and AP for our 1st and 3rd picks to The patriots and the Colts get Tom Brady, The Vikings end up with Tyler Thigpen whom they released just 2 years earlier???? Now that is the Pioli way!

Ok, lets say they want to trade Tommy boy, I don’t think we would want him. First he’s what 32 coming of a nasty injury and multiple operations. Who knows if the guy will come back and if he does who knows what kind of #'s he will be able to put up. The cost would FAR out weight the gains here IMO.

If he does come to KC, him and Pollard can room together in St. Joe.

They would of signed Cassel to a longer term deal if they were gonna trade Brady.

Exactly.

Only reason NE would trade Brady is if we're giving up future #1's and/or Brady's wheel is so busted he isn't the same Brady.

It aint gonna be Brady unless the chiefs give the first and second this year, a first next year and Pioli pays for first class escorts for belichick on a daily basis for the next ten years

I like the way you're thinking. Shaq and Tony G in a two tight end set will create serious matchup problems for the opponent.

What if Pat Boone, Orlando Bloom, Richard Boone, and Bruno Kirby formed a supergroup? They could have called it Boone, Bloom, Boone & Bruno. That would be pretty cool.

Seriously though, I wouldn't mind seeing Brady a Chief but no way should we give up any draft picks for him. TB for LJ sounds about right to me. They need a running back, right?

So you would give up one of our draft picks for Brady?

You obviously know nothing about football. Draft picks are sacrosanct. Pioli will lead us to a Super Bowl with the first four rounds tied behind his back.
