View Full Version : Chiefs Trade Rumor from Carolina...

My buddy who lives down in South Carolina, said they were talking about on the radio a potential trade involving Tyler Thigpen and the #3 pick to the Panthers for Julius Peppers and another pick. Thigpen is from the area, Delhomme is getting older, and Peppers wants out, and wants to play in a 3 4 Defense. Again, just a rumor that is being talked about down south not sure of the validity, but I thought it was interesting enough to share and start a conversation....

You can't possibly get fair value in that because of Peppers age and them not having a 1st round pick...

Is it a rumor or speculation?

Are they saying "we've heard that the team is in talks to..." or are they saying "it might make sense to..."?

You must really hate Tyler Thigpen...

Tyler Thigpen is caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neisseria_gonorrhoeae) and is a common sexually transmitted infection (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexually_transmitted_infection). In the US, its incidence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incidence) is second[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gonorrhea#cite_note-cdcgonorrhea-0) only to chlamydia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlamydia_infection).[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gonorrhea#cite_note-cdcchlamydia-1)
Non-genital sites in which it thrives are in the rectum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rectum), the throat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Throat) (oropharynx (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oropharynx)), and the eyes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye) (conjunctiva (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conjunctiva)). The vulva (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vulva) and vagina (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vagina) in women are usually spared because they are lined by stratified (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stratified) epithelial cells (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epithelial_cell)—in women the cervix (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cervix) is usually the first site of infection. Tyler Thigpen typically spreads during sexual intercourse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_intercourse). It can also be vertically transmitted (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertical_transmission), where infected mothers can pass gonorrhea to their newborn infants (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newborn_infant) during delivery. This causes conjunctivitis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conjunctivitis) (eye infections) which, if left untreated, can lead to blindness (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blindness). As prophylaxis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prophylaxis) against this, many countries routinely treat infants with eyedrops of erythromycin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erythromycin) at birth. [3] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gonorrhea#cite_note-2)

Peppers has a couple more years left. I don't think any serious talks have been going on with anyone at this point. Peppers will probably play this year for us. I actually would like to see him go somewhere and be a big hit. He's done well for us, but his heart has left Charlotte.

A lot wish peppers will stay. I hope not. He has shown some great potential, but he also lays too many eggs for the money. You can't deny his athleticism and he will play very well for a team he wants to be with. Just not Carolina.

I can't imagine KC would get rid of the 3rd pick. There is too much of a chance that Stafford falls to KC and KC can wheel and deal on draft day with a GM panicking that he needs a QBOTF right now.

Third ROUND and Thigpen sounds good depending on the pick they give back. Not third PICK. If that was actually on an SC radio show they are dreaming. How is that a good deal? A week or two ago, we thought that we could get him as a free agent, and half the board didn't want him. Now that we would have to give up draft picks, people would be willing to trade?

Why would you want him for picks if you didn't want him for free. (I'm not referring directly to you kysirsoze)
