My father (wolfpack 0735) was recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and dangerously high blood pressure. He's 48 and according to the doctor if he hadn't went he may have not seen his 50th birthday. He now has to eat very healthy and check the labels everytime he wants to eat. He is hungry all the time and starting to lose weight in the process. His body will adjust to the less amount of food. I am glad he went and can start to get this under control. He is allowed to eat 60 grams of carbs a meal.
He is on pills right now and if he can get his health together he won't have to go on insulin shots. Wish him luck for his next couple months of fighting to get healthy and for the rest of his life to stay healthy.
