They could build a stadium in KCK by legends and still be Kansas City. But then when the national media came and booked a hotel in KCK they would look around and go eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwww iccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

That's a joke right there. They just spent a bunch of money on their minor league baseball stadium that only attracts a fraction of fans and ended up selling out.

The only reason the Blazers are selling is because of youth & winning. Once the losing starts all the fans jump ship.

There's no way Portland could support another pro team. Any talk is just that. imo.

the economy is bad in every city so its not like larger cities would roll out the red carpet for either team. Its just the city throwing this out in the media to get people to feel sorry for them. I agree with statements above, clark has put a ton of money into stadium and I do believe the Royals had a 250 mm face lift.

Los Angeles would roll out the red carpet for the Chiefs.

Make no mistake about that.

Johnson County will take the Chiefs in.

Though the league would much prefer a franchise in LA, San Antonio is constantly in contact with the league about the possibilities of a franchise. And they are not afraid to kick out some dough to make it happen.

why would they do that when the nfl is going to give them there own franchise anyway?

They could be in Olathe and still be called Kansas City. The Detroit Pistons play over in Auburn Hills. No reason why Chiefs couldn't play in Johnson County if they had to, or needed the money. But no way is anything going to change. Chiefs and Royals are goin' no where.

All the money that was poured into that complex, no way this happens.

This is the dumbest over-reaction I've ever seen. There is no way that Jackson County after paying close to a billion dollars in renovations to both Arrowhead and the K is going to then balk at paying $2 million a year in maintenance and upkeep.

obviously not. neither team is moving. the point was a legal one, that it would technically put the city in breach on the leases
