Maintenance up-to-date (oil changes, new brakes, new tires, etc)

Keep in mind that this 2003 only has 65,500 miles on it. The 2003's on here are over 100K. Tires have less than 1000 miles, too.

I'm not saying it a good or bad deal Luv. I'm just tossing out some data. I have been out of the car business for four years, but for some reason, I can still get access every Manheim auction in the country to check weekly sale prices. In fact, for what it is, I would say it's a godo place to start the selling price.

Not a bad starting price, but I would be more concerned about gas prices going up to be honest. Once that happens, he might as well cut off the top and turn it into a flower pot. Right now is the time to unload that bad boy. Once the spring prices start to rise (Not to even go into summer gas prices) he's hosed.

why it's a good motor IMO, hell some of THE LONGEST LASTING(in american vehicles) motors ever have been inline 6's, ford 300 6 cyl, the 4.0 in jeeps(once they got the blow-by problem fixed) and IIRC the 4.2 has been a top 10 rated motor for at least the last few years.

I had an 88 F150 SC 4X4 with the 300CI 6 Cyl and a 5speed. One of the best pickups I have ever owned. Traded it in with 98,000 miles on it around October of 94 on a new 95 Dodge Ram SC 4X4 and IIRC I got $7,400 on my trade. I haggled ALL GAWDDAMN day with salesman cause the prick only wanted to give me $2500 for it. :cuss:

BTW LUV good luck with that price. Trade in value on my 06 Trailblazer LT was $10,500 3 months ago and it only has 18,000 miles on it. I might be able to get $2K or more selling it outright but I am guessing that would even be hard right now.
