Why is he still out there ?? He's got something left . Imagine Brooks ,Vrabel, Johnson.

Draft Curry and we're set at linebacker and will have a solid defense for years to come. Our defense will be a force.

No, curry will fall in to Brooks / Vrabels spot after the first year and we'll be strong!

No need for another aging 4-3 linebacker. The Chiefs just got rid of a very (formerly.) good aging LB in a 3-4 and 4-3.

Thread done.

eh, doesnt matter if we pick him up or not IMO. Drafting Curry should be our main focus.

Nope. He's still available.

he just seems like he would be a good fit with Pioli.

Who?

And don't say Donnie Edwards.

He was ok, but not "very" good, ever.

He did make the 2003 Pro-Bowl and needs only 4 interceptions to have the most ever by a LB'er.

I'm pretty sure he only made it into that pro bowl as an alternate.

And it's great that Donnie has the hands to make the catches when he has the opportunity to make an interception, but the fact is, as I've said before, and interception is rarely the result of any great effort by the interceptor, but rather usually the result of pressure by the D-Line (or blitzer), or simply a bad throw by the QB.

Donnie had the speed to be a great LB, but he never had the physicality.

As I said, he was an OK player, but not anything special.
