In honor of March 14, the day of Pi, I am making a homemade chicken pot pi, and also an apple pi.

For those of you who would deride me for embracing my inner math nerd, I say: "I have pie, and you don't."

I bought a chocolate chess pie less than an hour ago--and the nice lady behind the counter wished me a happy pi day. I had actually explained the concept of pi to my kids on the way to the store.
