A thread struck the attention of some CP FLB players the other day...and I started a league that is H2H with a 50 transaction cap (right now)...
So far we have 6 guys for a 10 team league, but if there is more interest I could expand it to 12, 14 or really even 16...
Right now we have...

We're looking for at least 4 more guys who are active and wouldn't mind paying a $30 entree fee...The Bad Guy will be in charge of the money until payouts... a 10 team league would likely be winner take all...

The final league settings will be set when the league is full and we can all agree on the best settings for the group.

Yeah, perhaps you can send them a PM as well...I couldn't PM tk13 because he doesn't accept them, and some of the others came up as 'name unknown' or something...but I sent out an invite to 5 or 6 of the ones you listed.

Not looking to join but I am thinking about joining a free league. Ive never done it before but I think it might make baseball interesting again. what's the best type of league? head to head?

No, roto is better. H2H comes down to much to hot players at the right time, you get to the playoffs and your players cool down, you're screwed.
Note to oldandslow: Don't try to draft Koufax, Campanella, Mantle, Mays, or Snider. Their stats won't count.
Glad to see you and Doomy are in, I'm surprised this league wasn't filled a week ago.

I'm not down with the $30 entry fee (sorry, this is the first time I saw that).
No offense, bad guy.
Perhaps it's the entry fee that's keeping us from filling the league.
The Yahoo league we had here for the past 6 or 7 years was always free and we seldom had a problem with players abandoning their teams.
Personally, I don't need money involved to maintain my interest.

I would've joined this league but im really tight on money that is the only reason i haven't joined. Sorry guys...but please invite me next time and i may try it. Also i will be working a ton so i dont know often i would be able to get on and being a money league that'd bother me hehe.
There is a free yahoo league my friend made if anyone wants to join it PM me. Me and DeezNutz are in it.

Right now we have 8 teams...if we want to keep it a money league, we can go ahead and keep the league at 8 teams...we'll just adjust the settings some to make it more realistic. Let me know what you guys want.

Forget the money. If anyone bails on their team we have something better than money. We can publicly ridicule them on this board. Invite Oz again. Is Duncan still in? Let's get 10 and set a draft date. I bet if we drop the $30 we can get 12.

I'm a selfish bastard, without money involved, I'll have little interest.
I know the summer will start, and with my wife pregnant and due in August, I won't care nearly as much as most.
So unfortunately, I will bow out. Good luck to everyone.

In light of the current economic conditions, the entry fee has been reduced to free. And for anyone who can't afford free, we're also offering 12 months no interest/no payments.

Can we dump the standard ESPN lineup card? I think it's a overkill to have 25 roster spots, with 22 active, when you get into 12-team leagues.
I like 22-man rosters, with 18 or 19 active (another P spot? or a second UTIL)
