I've been waiting for it and it finally happened. There is a thread on the Mange blaming Kansas City for everything that's happened to them this offseason.

http://www.orangemane.com/BB/showthread.php?t=78435

My God the past few weeks have been insanely enjoyable. This just adds to it. This has been one of the best offseasons in recent memory.

They're probably just a little sore that I called Spider "CB SAVAGE" after today's "I'm going to prison for being a shitty trucker" thread.

It pretty much accurately reflects in song the average bronco fan. Broncofan tears will be excellent marinade for steak.

Spider is my favorite Whipping Boy at the Mange. I don't taunt him regularly, I prefer to use a more surgical, long-term method of destroying him.

"You must begin by gaining power over yourself; then another; then a group, an order, a world, a species, a group of species… finally, the galaxy itself."

Quite so.

He couldn't take a team that went 18-0 the year before to the playoffs. Pretty soon Cassel will find out that Dwayne Bowe and Michael Bradley ain't no Moss and Welker.

The good thing out of all of this... it's poured gas on the rivalry that had been stale the last few years. Denver's wounds are self inflicted, nothing more and nothing less. I wish Bowlen would step in, but he's apparently going to let the new young brain trust trip through this one.

Cassel lead that team, with all of their injuries to 11-5.

Broncos fans are going to be so happy when Cassel is on the field at Pile High and McDaniels is over on the sideline gushing, holding his hands together and staring at the dreamboat QB on the field.

If Bernard Pollard doesn't shred Tom Brady's knee in week 1 Matt Cassel never plays a down and Josh McDaniels doesn't fall in love with a QB who has never started in college or the NFL.

Or, if Dwayne Bowe doesn't drop an easy catch on a San Diego onside kick in week 15 Denver makes the playoffs and Mike Shanahan is never fired. I don't think Shanny would have been fired even if we still lost our last 3 games to go to 8-8 and lost a home playoff game to Indy.

11-5 really sucks, huh? How bad is it when you almost won your division at 8-8? Maybe Bowe did you all a favor by missing the catch. Blame him all you want, but he saved you from being totally embarrassed against Indy.

Man I hope so. For the last couple of years during KC-Denver week I couldn't get anybody on this board going.

Hopefully Coach McKid and his soap opera in Denver will distract the KC fans from the fact their team hasn't done a thing to improve their team other than add a backup QB.

Thus giving Chiefs fan confidence so the smaque wars may begin again. I kind of miss those days.

The Chiefs football operations team is led by a new man with a winning background. There is a new head coach and many new assistants. The team owner has a very strong desire to win.

And KC got the quarterback your head coach coveted.

They've done a thing or two to improve the team. Jealous much?

I still think McD needs an a$$ kicking... I do wish him the best, but he's terribly botched this thing. I wonder why Xanadu or Bowlen took so long to get out in front of this issue. It's almost like all parties are content with this BS.

Anyway, at some point it will be resolved and either way... we'll all move on with our lives.

McKid had better be an excellent game day coach, winning forgives all. Otherwise his junior ass is out the door sooner rather than later. I have respect for Mr. Bowlen but you are right, he needed to turn McKid and Cutler over his knee about 2 weeks ago.

I don't get the impression that anyone in the NE franchise gives two shits about Josh McDaniels. I wouldn't be surprised if Pioli or Bellicheck leaked this. Maybe a combination of the two. Whatever the case, couldn't happen to a nicer team.

McKid had better be an excellent game day coach, winning forgives all. Otherwise his junior ass is out the door sooner rather than later. I have respect for Mr. Bowlen but you are right, he needed to turn McKid and Cutler over his knee about 2 weeks ago.

Shanarat was one of the best game day coaches over the last 12 years. He was also in charge of every aspect of the organization the sole undisputed boss. It could be as hard for McKid to fill Shanarat's shoes as it was for Brister to fill Elway's.

Add to the expectations a new offensive and defensive scheme. McKid comes from a mature successful system were the whole organization is in sync, everyone knows their job, knows their place and who is in charge. McKid can't even get his QB to adjust how is he going to get riens on the whole organization?

Too big a task for a rookie HC so I don't expect him to last more than 2 years. McKid is going to experience the same results as Charlie Wies and Romeo Crennel experienced when they left that support structure. Denver really needed an experienced HC that knows how to manage all the pitfals during this time of transition. Shanarat wasn't just a HC he was the whole leadership structure and it all left with him.
