With Roseola it will be a low grade fever for 2-3 days(like 99.5) and then it will spike to 103ish for a day or two. It has a flat, non-itching rash, on the neck, arms and torso. Every kid is exposed, but I think most get it by age 2-3.


There are so many virus' going around, you'll probably be fine pumping him full of 7up, orange juice, gentle foods(soup, crackers)...and watch the fever and hydration.

Hope the fella gets better soon....I hate when kids are sick.

I always thought Food poisoning came on within 20-30 minutes, and would be more likely to have severe cramping, the scours, and vomiting?

I've heard of an allergic reaction...my nephew's throat and eyes swell up and gets a body rash if he gets within smelling distance of a peanut....but none of the other stuff.
