Kennard man jailed after fleeing three Omaha crashes

A Kennard, Neb., man was jailed Tuesday after fleeing three successive crashes along L Street in Omaha.

The first crash took place in the southbound lanes of the Kennedy Freeway during evening rush hour. The second took place at 88th and L Streets, and another at 108th and L Streets.

After the last crash, the suspect went back east on L; several other motorists boxed him in near 96th Street until police arrived and arrested him.

The suspect, 62-years-old, was booked into the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of three counts each of second-degree felony assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and criminal mischief.

This fuqtard could have hurt a lot of people. It took Omaha Police forever to respond. :thumb:

The problem is that there are no donut shops on L street.

What's pathetic is there is a precinct right off of 96th and L, I see cops around there all the time. You know what they say though, there's never a cop around when you need one, but the second you make an illegal u-turn...

Was there a motive for the way he was driving? Was the Summer Kitchen Cafe' closing early that day?
