It's a hypothetical but why doesn't detroit trade the one for 12 and 18?

Not many teams want a top 5 pick. This is about the worst year to be in the top 5 that I can remember.

Not to mention Detroit would lose the equivalent of a mid-first round pick in draft value points with that trade.

I'm getting really tired of the draft value points. A #1 this year not worth a #1 in most years. With this interchangeable group 2 first round picks are better than any one player out there, and I don't care if its a 21 and 28 like the Eagles have, give me that over #1 or #3 anyday
