Is this your mock?

If so, kill yourself.

If not, since you consider a pretty good mock, then kill yourself anyway.

Just put it back and Curry, Brian Orakpo is like not even having a pick.

He's a Texas player that has more desire to be a bodybuilder than football player...

There's one player on that Texas team you could convince me to take top 5...lets see if anyone knows who it is.

Colt McCoy.

LMAO

Fuck no!

But in all honesty there is one player on that team that I think is talented enough to make me overlook that he went to Texas in what he's done so far that I would use a very high pick on him and he's not in the draft this year.

Curry is the stand-out player in a talent deprived draft. Everyone that is building him up as a automatic pro-bowler needs to settle down. I've said it along with a few other people here and almost every respected sports media; 3 is way too high to use it on an OLB.

I like his talent, but why spend Ferrari money on a 4 wheel-drive pickup?

Here's a quote from Scott Wright that will probably annoy some people..

The Chiefs interest in Eugene Monroe is very real. I've been hearing that talk for a couple of weeks now and I believe I mentioned it on the podcast last week or the week before.

How he can say that when no one other the Pioli knows what Pioli is thinking?

Unlike a lot of people here on CP, my belief in Pioli is not 100%, but one thing he does is keep things secret. I would hate to meet him at the poker table.

Nothing like Derrick Johnson, Kindle recorded 12 sacks this year alone without even being a full time starter...

He'll be a rush backer in a 3-4 and he has tremendous speed.

I like him but am waiting to see how he handles the extra weight now that they have shifted him to DE.

Not to worried about that, NFL teams are going to look at him as a 3-4 rush backer, so he won't need to play any heavier than 250-260.

That's the one Texas player I'd be fine with picking.

What would people say if the Chiefs trade the #3 for a lower first round pick and a first rounder in 2010? That's the type of trade the Patriots would make and tick fans off because it wasn't sexy but in the end would pay off huge dividends.
Draft day around here will be hilarious.

The Patriots only did that shit after they were good...

They didn't trade out of their super high picks when they weren't good otherwise they wouldn't have Seymour or Warren.

Actually Warren was at #14. They got him for Bledsoe.then they traded #19 to Baltimore (Boller) for a second (Eugene Wilson) and a first in 2004 (Vince Wilfork).
#14 would be a good spot to pick this year as the value at 3 sucks. People at the time they drafted Warren were pissed because they thought the Patriots should have traded up to get Dwayne Robertson. In 2001 most expert fans wanted David Terrell. Seymour was not the sexy pick

The real era of draft day trading was the 2003 draft after a 9-7 season when Belichick had numerous discussions with Jimmy Johnson on how to manipulate the draft.
The point is delayed gratification is what draft day tends to be but in the end the results work out.
So would you trade out of #3 for, say, #14 and a 2010 first? Because I think if Pioli doesn't feel anybody at #3 isn't a can't miss great player he will do that. And that's what I think will end up happening, UNLESS a team like Denver panics and gives 2 first rounders this year to draft Sanchez. I would be STUNNED if the Chiefs draft anybody at 3
