He will be an innings eater, but he will also have nights were he looks just like Myers(or possibly worse) as well. I really don't see the Braves contending with the Phillies and Mets in the NL East this year. Their offense has looked pretty good tonight getting three bombs, but no Brave hit more than 23 last season. IMO the only way the Braves are able to contend with the other two this year is for Lowe and Vasquez to have phenomenal seasons and production from players aside from just McCann and Chipper.

Well, I was until his last Spring Training start... he's kinda worrying me now... but hey, we always have Hanson if we need him!! Oh, and some guy Glavine... oh, and towards the end of the season we can bring in Hudson if necessary.... oh baby, the glory days of being a Braves fan are back!!!

I had more than enough drama with Gonzalez taking so long to get into a rhythm. Jesus christ that was scary to watch. I don't like it when my closer only throws 15 strikes out of 28 pitches....
