Northern Illinois defensive end/outside linebacker Larry English will visit the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, and the St. Louis Rams next week, according to Albert Breer of SportingNews.com.

English has previously visited the Denver Broncos and the Atlanta Falcons.

And English has reportedly conducted private workouts with the Broncos, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, and New England Patriots.

The 6′2″, 255-pound pass rusher is regarded as a strong outside linebacker candidate for 3-4 teams.

English ran the 40-yard dash in 4.74 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout, posting a 9′7″ broad jump.

You'd almost definitely need a HIGH second, which means giving up a 2010 first rounder.

Pretty much all of the scenarioes involving the #3 overall include a pick at the very end of the first or very beginning of the second (Cleveland, Cinci, Philly, etc.). So there's ways to do it without giving up anything next year.

Good point. I just hope we can find a team to take the bait and trade down with.

Right, if you move the 3 then that will get you there.

To be honest, I'd be surprised if you guys can manage to move the 3. If you do, I doubt you'll get what might be considered "normal" value for it.
