If anyone is willing or able to sponsor me… it would be greatly appreciated.
Some of you know that I ride with a motorcycle club called BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse). We are an organization that works with kids who have been abused be it physical, emotional, or sexual... even as far as escorting our kids to, and attending their court dates. We are in 36 states and 3 continents. Our mission statement is as follows:
BACA Mission Statement
Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) exists with the intent to create a safer environment for abused children. We exist as a body of Bikers to empower children to not feel afraid of the world in which they live. We stand ready to lend support to our wounded friends by involving them with an established, united organization. We work in conjunction with local and state officials who are already in place to protect children. We desire to send a clear message to all involved with the abused child that this child is part of our organization, and that we are prepared to lend our physical and emotional support to them by affiliation, and our physical presence. We stand at the ready to shield these children from further abuse. We do not condone the use of violence or physical force in any manner, however, if circumstances arise such that we are the only obstacle preventing a child from further abuse, we stand ready to be that obstacle.

As for the sponsoring part...
With April being Child Abuse Awareness Month, the National HQ of BACA has decided to have a fund raising ride. The ride will be a minimum of 100 miles and we are asking for any and all people who are willing and able to sponsor a rider to do so. In this case… you would be sponsoring me.
The ride will take place on April 25th and we will travel from Wichita to Marquette, KS, and back, for a total of 162 miles in one afternoon.
If you are willing, please send me a PM with your email address so I can send you the pledge sheet and additional information.
Proceeds from the 100 Mile Ride will benefit abused children with which we work.
Funds may be used for:
* Child Assistance Fund
* Abuse Prevention Brochures
* Child Abuse Awareness
* Administrative Costs
* Memorabilia for kids we visit such as:
Leather Vests, Stickers, Coloring Books, Patches and Temporary Tattoos
B.A.C.A. IS A 501(C)3 NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION SO ALL DONATIONS TO B.A.C.A. ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE! (receipt will be given for all donations)
Every little bit helps. Even $1 sponsorships.
