Who's your other starter opposite of Bowe come the opener?

Is it Bradley's job to lose?
Could Darling push for the #2 job?
Is it a foregone conclusion that Engram will be in the slot?
A player who isn't yet on this team's roster (via Free Agency or the Draft)?

Hakeem Nicks.

Hakeem Nicks.

Sounds good, but how are we going to acquire a pick in the low 20's to get him?

Dwayne Bowe, Crabtree will be our #1.

If the Giants trade for Edwards he'll probably make it to the 2nd round, plus he supposedly had some ridiculous character concern, you know where the NFL likes to make them up so everyone has some issue that when you read about it makes you go "WTF?"

Michael Crabtree.

At #3 despite the foot eh?

Will he be signed soon enough that he can come to camp on time and get the work in?

Boy I want this on my team...

WR Michael Crabtree, Texas Tech (Soph.-3)
Crabtree may not have a laundry list of arrests, but his ego is abnormally large to the point where he repeatedly demeaned training staff, his work ethic has been described as “marginal at best,” and his intelligence and ability to handle success remain major question marks. One thorough evaluator compared Crabtree’s mental makeup to that of former LSU and Buccaneers 2004 15th overall pick Michael Clayton, who made a big splash in the NFL as a rookie before going on to average 31 catches, 378 yards and a half-TD catch each of the past four years as he lost focus, bought into the hype and stopped working at his craft the way young receivers must do to be great. Crabtree's competitiveness noticeably stands out on tape, and he did play through injury last season. However, when the Red Raiders were getting whipped by better competition (Oklahoma and Mississippi) during the final two games of the season, Crabtree did not finish either game. After he gets a taste of success in the pros, evaluators are not confident he will be able to handle the trappings of the pro game.

Problem being, we currently don't have a Second Round pick.
And even if were to swing that trade with ATL no way he's there at 55 is he?

He could be the 6th WR that goes....it all depends on what the teams that are picking want.

But no we'd probably have to be in the 30's with the pick.

That seems to be where everyone has him ranked among this class.

I can see us maybe getting that #2 back, but I'm not sure we'll be back in the top third of that round.

I'm guessing if we trade down in Round One we pull the trigger on a guy like DHB.

Hakeem Nicks.

I heard he had a terrible pro day where he was overweight and unconditioned.

Hakeem Nicks (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfldraft/draft/tracker/player?draftyear=2009&id=24744), WR, North Carolina: After rising up draft boards before his pro day, he's falling because of his weight gain and conditioning issues. He now is projected to go late in the first round.

I liked him before that too, but I'd rather the guy who has a great work ethic and makes his something out of nothing than the extreme talent who just wants to get paid and doesn't try to improve (like TO).

I'd MUCH rather see us take a guy like Nicks.
