Scott Wright was on 810 today and was talking about how the Chiefs LOVE Tyson Jackson... Said he would play the 5 technique in the 3-4.

But at 3? Is he on anyone else's radar anywhere near the top half of the draft?

edit: NM, found some that have him going to GB at 9. Still, 3 seems awfully high.

I do find it interesting that Curry has fallen is some mock drafts, with Charlie Casserly seeing him at 10 to the 9ers, and Mike and Charles Davis finally acknowledging that it's risk to take Curry in the top 5 for a skillset that you are only projecting when discussing pass rush ability.

I like Jackson. I don't know about taking him that high, though. We're not playing a traditional 3-4.

Interesting.....

It definitely seems high, and 3-4 DEs rarely go in the top ten, but if Pioli thinks he can be anything close to Seymour than I wouldn't hate it given the talent available in this draft.

That said, it is less than week before the draft, and this is when you start hearing the wild rumors.

Okay, why aren't more people talking about this? This rumor is all over the place this weekend.

Probably need to change the thread title.

If Jackson is being looked at as a 5T, then Dorsey is probably being looked at to play inside. Either that, or their going to a less-traditional front.

I gotta think they're targeting Jackson AFTER a trade down.

Yes, this is exactly how I see it.
