I would just call the manufacturer and see how much a new keyboard will be (usually not very expensive), and you can probably replace it yourself if you are a little handy.

Otherwise take it to some local computer store (NOT Geek Squad) and pay them an hour labor to put it in.

Putting a keyboard into a laptop is approximately 3 screws. If you can't do that you should return your man card now.
