I'm trying to get the cheapest Samsung LCD I can find between 32-37. I'm only looking for 720p. Besides TigerDirect, does anyone know where I can pull this off for around 500? I'm not looking to spend much more than that.

Thanks in advance.

That's exactly what I want. If I can grab it for around 525, I'll pull the trigger. Cheapest I found it was 580. Even tried using the live.com cashback and nothing.

Do you have a Sam's Club in your area?

Nope - only Costco.

There's a Sams near my parents house, but they aren't members.

Sam's had it for $547.

You could wait a few more weeks for the price to drop. It's worth $600, IMO.

A lot of sites offer free shipping too

I can afford to wait. It's not a huge pressing issue. It's just going to be the bedroom TV.

If you see it cheap anywhere, shoot me a PM. Thanks for the help.

Dude I would just save the money and buy a 1080p.

I wouldnt waste $500 on just a 720p IMO its not worth it.

Stepping up to 1080p is hardly worth the price on a 32" TV. Can't see the difference in a picture that small anyway.

Exactly. For a bedroom TV where my wife will only watch HD movies on satellite and her network shows, it's not worth going full bore when my living room 61 inch 1080p will get all the heavy viewing.

Won't make much difference on a screen that size.

Good deal or bad deal? I know 1080p doesn't make that much of a difference, but to get a 37-inch Sammy 720 would have cost me around 750.

Not a terrible deal, but you could get a much better deal with a Vizio. You could try this.

They really do make a good product, and the response time is better (less ghosting), although the contrast ratio isn't.

FWIW, I have a 32" Samsung (got it 3 years ago when they were $1300 on sale, ugh...). Not disappointed with it at all, but you can get a better value now.

This is what I've got. It's not a Samsung, but I've never had any roblems with it. It's the Best Buy brand, and I know how a lot of people feel about Best Buy.

My friend had 3 Vizios die out on him. I'm staying away from them.

I think the Panny is a pretty good deal considering it's about 50-100 dollars more expensive everywhere else. Not thrilled about the 1080p, but the wife wants the 37 inch for the bedroom.

I figure for the extra 40 dollars from the 720p Samsung to the 1080p Panny is not a bad investment.

I'm sure you already know this, but make sure that it has sufficient connections for what you're trying to hook up to it (component, hdmi, etc.). I almost made that mistake, and it would have been frustrating as hell.

They get good reviews at Walmart but you might be right.

Sounds like a good deal. I've never really read any reviews about it, but I'm sure it's as good as it sounds.
