Name the movie and the moment.

Jaws- the part where Richard Dreyfuss(sic) is inspecting holes of a boat while underwater, and the head with one eye falls down into view. The buddy I went to the theater with threw his entire tub of popcorn in the air. :)

The Changeling(1979)- the ball that rolls down the stairs; and the moment that the sleepwalking girl sees a boy breaking thru the floor in the middle of the night. I'm feelin that chill right now as I remember these..

Got any more, O seasoned CP brethren?

cape fear...random parts through the movie
Silence of the Lambs, HE WORE HIS FACE!
Jaws has to be up there too. I just can't get too terrifed even thinking about it in my memory right now because I saw it and it looked hokey. too bad they couldn't just edit out the parts where the shark looks like peter north wagging his dong

This. I was 10 and my mom took me to see it. Big mistake. Fear of what else might be in the water persists to this day. Damn you Spielberg!

Creepy: When Linda Blair does the spiderwalk down the stairs in Exorcist. Also, when the character climbs out of the TV in the Ring.

Shock-scary: When the face of the demon appears quickly twice in the Exorcist (this is mostly cool though). Also, when the dead girl grabs the boys legs from underneath the bed in The Sixth Sense

Whole movie-creepy: Don't Look Now, but especially when the old blind lady is talking about the dead daugher: She's right here! or something like that.

Cool scary: In The Omen, when the nanny hangs herself from the window at Damien's birthday: IT'S ALL FOR YOU, DAMIEN! I've seen the first one, but I'm really thinking of the second one when Julie Christie jumps.

Those immediately come to mind.

and Burnt Offerings at the end with Karen Black once again: " I've been waiting for you, Ben! "

Kind of scary movie that was ruined by a pussy - In Descent, when you first see the little creature, there was a guy in the theater who screamed like a 7 year old girl finding out that Hannah Montana has been cancelled. Everyone in the theater laughed, including me for the rest of the movie.

That reminds me of another shock-scary: In the Descent when the poles from the truck ram through the car windshield (and their faces)

Sweet!!I should order it, keep it secret... and watch the movie with my oldest boy.

Then sneak into his room while he's sleeping, and put it on his dresser. Mwahahaha.

I felt bad for my friend who I went with, because every 5 or 10 minutes or so I would break into a laugh at the thought "the scream," try hard to suppress it, and end up just sounding like I was heavily sobbing into the popcorn.

Man. You'd better be glad you have boys. If my dad did that to me, I'd be scarred for life!
