In comparison to what?

It's not any worse than the Tamba Hali year when you take a look back at that one.

Bull$hit. It's easy to sit here NOW and say this....there WILL be stars out of this draft, there WILL be guys we all will wish we would have picked, there will be long-time vets and difference makers. The team that does it's homework and perhaps get a bit lucky will do just fine.

The top of it appears to not be but overall it's just as good as any others. Go take a look back at the Hali draft there are numerous high picks that are nothing.

People like to throw that shit up every year about he drafting being bad. It has deep positions and weak positions just like any other year.

Agreed, it's bad. But I think its a decent year for tailbacks...

It's a good WR and OL year aswell.

The top 6 WR's in this class are better than anyone from last years.

yeah the top 3 tackles in this draft should be very good players

This.

Pre draft analysis of the draft quality is as worthless as speculating if teams are getting calls.

And his point is? I don't think anyone's not going to watch it because of that.

You also have to understand Mike Mayock likes certain kind of players....sometimes he's stuck in 1985.

At the top end I would tend to agree. Overall, this draft class will be fine, there is good value in the middle.

This reminds me of the 1994 Draft. Good players no great franchise players. In 1994 Picks 1, 3 and 5 were Dan Wilkerson, Heath Shuler and Trev Alberts. FYI, in '94 the selected the "Real Deal" Greg Hill.

Hey! Don't shoot me, I am just passing along wht he said. Obviously there are going to be good players come out of the draft. Maybe even a HOF'er or two.

I'm just hoping with the #3 pick, we get one.

Well lets just all go home then and forfeit our picks. Its pointless really.

marshall faulk disagrees with you, they asked him if it was a good RB year, he said yes shook his head and said no

This is a good year for RB's even if Knowshon Moreno was the only one.

HUH??? one RB would make it a good draft for rbs? you got some more of that shit?

Mecca

The RB class is fine, it's no different than most years other than no one is projected top 10, but I don't think RB's should ever go that high.

The good news is that the Chiefs will be terrible in 2009, too, so hellloooo top 5 pick in a non-awful draft! Yay!

I think its a rather good draft especially in the first round, if you dont have a top 4 or 5 pick.

Theres just no "Sure Things" like there usually is every year, but the talent is pretty good overall, especially if you are picking 10-25.

There's really no such thing as a sure thing any year.

I think it's (really) weak 1-10, but it's fairly strong the rest of the way.

Unless you want a QB or an OT then it's pretty good.

True, last year was pretty much the same.

But in 2007 you had names like

Calvin Johnson and Adrian Peterson

In 2006 you had Reggie Bush, Mario Williams, and Vince Young

2005 was a bad year

2004 you Eli Manning, Larry Fitzgerald, Philip Rivers, Roy Williams (WR), Kellen Winslow, and Ben Roethlisberger

2003 you had Carson Palmer, Charles Rogers, Andre Johnson, Terrence Newman, Jordan Gross, and Terrell Suggs

Now I know all of these picks didnt turn out, but going in they were super hyped, and were almost considered sure things.

This year you don't have that.
