I still consider center and linebacker to be positions of need for us. A borderline 5th round pick still has a chance of starting for us too. Shipley's available and he'd be my pick in the 6th round. He's got every chance to start and further upgrade the line I would think. If we go linebacker, I think we'd get good value with Beckwith or Ellerbe as well.

Here's an interesting thought though...suppose we do release LJ in the upcoming weeks. Perhaps Rashad Jennings would be a decent pickup in the 6th round to offset that loss?

shammus, I'd like to see us add a running back that they think they can use. Mostly because that would be another step in getting Larry Johnson the **** out of here.

Aside from that, I think Pioli said that the Pats took a QB most years, maybe there's someone left we can take a flyer on. Obviously Croyle's upside is nil so he should be on the street, the only other QB then would be Pigpen
