Unfortunately some Buc fans are hating the pick, I myself am loving it.

Shoot Leftwich was a smokescreen, healthy competition never hurt anyone.

Still it didn't need to be said in public. I think the bucs will use lefty for 2 years if he is decent, if they are smart they'll wait to throw freeman out there

Hey if Leftwich wins the TC battle, then he starts, if McCown wins.. then he starts.

Don't they have a good chunk of change invested on Mccown?

I still can't believe this guy went in the first round.

Did he EVER win a meaningful game at KSU?

He made last year's MU defense look pretty good too

He beat Texas twice.

It's just very difficult for an average fan (me included) to judge the guy's ability to be an NFL QB. Different OC's every year, limited talent around him, historically bad defense and a coach under fire. Not exactly the best environment to develop and win games.

Well, that's more anybody other QB in the Big XII North did.

He made last year's MU defense look pretty good tooI didn't watch Freeman against other teams, but he looked really bad against MU. He was incredibly inaccurate and skipped several passes to his receivers. The pick 6 he threw to Willy Mo was brutal.

As long as Freeman was at K-State, I liked MU's chances of winning the game.

We had quite a few QB's at K-State that won many more meaningful games than Freeman ever did - none of them were drafted on the first day of the NFL draft.

Kind of how I felt about Brad Smith back in the day. He had a good career at MU but he always played like dogshit vs K-State.
