Yes, there's actually some "underground hip hop" in Springtown. This guy is Syllable 7. He sent me a sample cd of his once, but unfortunately I misplaced it when moving. Kind os hard to hear him, but I still like it.

I dont like rap in general. I used to like a little Beastie Boys back in the day but thats about it. You ever heard of either of the bands I posted above? They both play at The Outland a lot.

Tech N9ne of course. He's the #1 Independent rapper in the country and was 3rd in concert sales behind Jay-Z and Kanye West, who of course are radio/mainstream rappers who pail in comparison to Tech N9ne. Obviously he has a huge fan base, he's sold over 1 million albums independent, which means no radio, no MTV or BET, nothing, just shows and merchandise.

I know most people on here probably despise rap, but Tech N9ne is a good dude and a very talented rapper who cares about his fans unlike most rappers out there. That's why he's got a huge fan base without anything because he's the best and he loves his fans.
