What is the most money you have ever spend at a strip club in one night? I have a friend who had a bad weekend in NOLA and still won't tell me how much he spent at the strip club there. He will only say that "there is no sex in the champagne room"!

I hate strip clubs. Went with my buddy at his brother's bachelor party in Vegas. I just came off winning $700 at a table so (unfortunately) I had money to burn.

Chipped in on his dance and then two chicks were sitting on our laps for a while. They asked us to go to the VIP area. I told my bro I'd pay since I was up.

$50 each just to get in.
Must buy drinks for ourselves AND the GIRLS = $60.
Then it was, IIRC, $100 per three songs.

They started dancing halfway through a song and after the next song, they said "this is your last song" until you buy another three. I said something about the first song only being half-way in, and she repeated "this is your last song, until you buy three more." I said "no thanks"

And as I was fishing $200 out of my wallet she says "tip is customary" My buddy tossed $40 on the table and we split. The ONLY good thing about it was they let us hit our cocaine bullet while back there (they didn't partake, of course)

To be honest, I've never seen the point of strip clubs. I find them boring. But then, I don't really drink much so that's probably a huge part of the issue.

I've told this story before, so I'll just tell it in brief -- I knew a guy down in Florida -- former military officer, who had become quite wealthy buying distressed businesses, turning them around, and selling them. One time a strip club owner goes to him offerring to sell the business -- he needed to get the money fast and get out of the business.

The guy is like 60, married, daughters, and he's thinking no way his wife would let him even if he was interested, but he asks the guy for the financials etc. to at least give him the courtesy.

They saw the financials and the guy went home to his wife. Their jaws were on the floor. The wife is like -- errr, ok, but you can't be there all the time or anything. He ended up buying the business.

He said they made money like nothing he ever saw. He kept it for a while then flipped it. It wasn't without its headaches.

I note that if my memory is correct, he was in the Tampa area, so it may even have been the nightclub that was mentioned earlier in this thread....
