Web space and Web design

Good day,

I'm a pure beginner to the idea of doing a page myself and want to know if there's a free program, or a program I can download that will allow me to upload video to and add links, advertisers, etc?

if you have MS office suite software installed, check and see if you have front page.

if not, download visual studio (basic version is free) from microsoft.

both of those are fairly newb friendly and you can find tutorials on youtube.

I don't know about the free ones- I'm sure they're out there. I've been a Dreamweaver man since version 3 about 10 years ago....

Yeah as a student I bought the Adobe Suite CS3 and CS4 so I was trained to use Dreamweaver and as far as web space goes, that's just pick of the litter really.

I downloaded adobe cs4 and also dreamweaver yesterday; they seem a bit complicated but wtf, I'm semi intelligent, I can learn. Thanks guys

If you want something relatively simple... Id recommend using the blog platform, WordPress.
