We ate there saturday and the pizza was delicious. Just added a few of our own toppings, great atmosphere. It cost like $10 for the pizza, super cheap. real ingredients, probably one of the best ive had in a long time

Years ago at a Cardinals game in St. Louis, there was a guy sitting in the bleachers who looked just like Terry Bradshaw. He was a wearing a Bradshaw Steelers jersey, and there were three or four guys with him wearing shirts that said "I'm with Terry" on them. Now, I'm sure they guy wasn't the real Bradshaw (from what I've heard/read Bradshaw is a complete douche who doesn't interract with the little people unless a camera is rolling) but I don't think he was actually trying to make people think he was the real guy. It was rather amusing.

That's the exact opposite from what I've heard about Terry Bradshaw. He's big in horses (http://www.circle12.com/), has a giant horse ranch, and his daughter shows horses. And for quite some time he purchased a lot of horses from a very small horse farm in Canton, KS where my father went to high school. My old man was best friends with the son of the guy who owned the horse farm. I guess one day my old man's buddy called him and asked for some help loading up a bunch of horses. My dad obliged, and helped him load the horses. Afterward, they were sitting on the tailgate of a pickup, and somebody yelled "Where the hell is the Budweiser around here?" Dad turned around, and Bradshaw was standing there. They all popped a beer and shot the shit for several hours. He said Bradshaw was one of the nicest down to earth people he ever met. He's quite the friendly celeb in that little town.

Nice story. But it's the first one I've heard that was positive.

BigRedChief says Tony Gonzalez is the nicest guy in the world, but everybody else says he's a prick.

I assume these guys have good days and bad, just like the rest of us. But when stuff you hear is overwhelmingly negative, well, there's probably something to that.

I am thinking just about any chubby guy that dyes his hair blond and spikes it, shaves his beard the same way and throws on some half queer looking sunglasses is going to look a lot like the guy :)

right on, I'm always down for some good BBQ. There is a newer place in Lawrence that is pretty damn good, Beimer's BBQ. It's kind of like North Carolina style BBQ sauce, but not bad for lawrence
