Where could one find old newspaper articles online about AFL and NFL games from the 60's and early 70's? Maybe old AP stories, or even local newspaper writeups of the games...with emphasis on Chiefs games, of course...

And as you might have guessed, I'm not looking to spend any money... ;)

Many thanks to any who can assist in this glorious quest.

P.S. By the way, this is in no way part of any money-making scheme. As I get older I guess I'm getting kind of nostalgic, and I just thought it would be neat to collect and read old articles and writeups of games I remember from my youth...

I got a book from New York Times, with every game, newspaper copy, for the chiefs since the beginning up to 2006, really neat. But that costs money, I don't know how much it was a gift.....

I think this requires a subscription, but you can often get access through libraries, etc.

Yeah, not really sure that's what I'm looking for, but I appreciate the effort.

Yeah, that sounds like a possibility, but I guess I should emphasize I am looking for an online solution, something I could access from home...

Thanks, though.

By "collect" do you mean "be given through no effort of my own beyond clicking on a link posted in this thread"?

I guess I thought since we're all a bunch of football fans on this bulletin board I would ask if anyone knew of the kind of resource I need, rather than spending a bunch of time searching first...It's called not reinventing the wheel...

Sorry if your pussy ass was terribly offended by my asking first and searching second....
