Hall is upset with his overall rating in Madden. Pretty funny if you ask me. You think he'll get back on top this season or will he fail and justify his low rating?

Why would he give a shit anyway, because he should have alot better things to do besides playing video games. Shit, I stopped playing when I was 16 years old due to they change/upgrade every 3 years then you have to buy another round of games so they can work on another system.

I'm surprised he gives a shit.

I think it's really funny how any player could possibly care about this. Could anything matter less?

just shows he's not really focused on football. i thought the line about having his name and likeness pulled from the game was pretty funny. like they give a shit.

Maybe he should stop getting burned and they'll up his rating. On a side note, who thinks hall has more than another 2 or 3 years before he's out of football?

His rating has been too high for too long anyway--he sucks.

Does the average person care when they are downgraded on how they perform???
Of coarse they do!

I think most players care about how they are judged as far as how good they are.

Sure you care how much your employer evaluates you. But would you care how you were evaluated by a third party who ran a computer simulation of your employer's company?

I kind of would seeing as how said computer simulation is played by millions around the world.

No one is going to be paying attention to the simulation if you are getting the job done in reality.

I'm guessing Ochocinco also got lowered?

Also a ton of NFL players play that game, and gaming isn't a kid thing anymore, if it was it wouldn't have become the giant industry it has so some people need to come off that.

im not surprised it seems like every year someone is bitching about their rating. I think Dante Hall complained that his speed rating was too low one year

Some random comment from the youtube vid unveiling the rookie ratings:

Crabtree's speed should be 90. CATCHING should be a min. of 95. And route running should not be 75. If you disagree, then look at the awards and highlights.

Aaron Curry's tackle should be at least 92.

Mark Sanchez' Throw Acc. Deep should be 85. And Throw Power should be 93 or 94.

B.J. Raji's tackle should be 94.

Vontae Davis' Zone Coverge should be 85.

If you're over the age of 25 and you play that shit, you need a life.

Perhaps if he didn't suck shit on the field, he'd have a higher rating.

He basically said a video game owns his dignity. What a moron. Play football, and do what you get paid to do.

I actually read that some football players become pretty good friends with the guys that are in charge of the ratings to make sure they keep theirs up.

I guess that's no different than guys bitching at Chris Carter for pointing out negatives( gotta' keep those endorsement $$$$ coming in ).
Sad.

Wow that's an informed view.

I think my dad feels the same way about video games and he's in his sixties. So you're either A, like him. Or B, younger and just out of touch.

This article is a survey from back in Dec 08. Seems like you're in the minority.

No wonder so many of these guys fail at real life. They're entirely fragile.
