Bill Killed.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8083479.stm

Kill Bill and Kung Fu star David Carradine has been found dead in a Bangkok hotel room, BBC correspondent Jonathan Head has reported.

The 72-year-old was in Thailand filming his latest film Stretch, according to his personal manager Chuck Binder.

Mr Binder said the news was "shocking", adding: "He was full of life, always wanting to work... a great person."

On June 3, 2009, Carradine was found dead in his room at the Park Nai Lert Hotel in Bangkok (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangkok), Thailand (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thailand)[6] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Carradine#cite_note-5). The initial police investigation indicated that Carradine had hanged (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanged) himself using a cord of the type which is used with curtains. Circumstances suggested that the death was a suicide (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide).[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Carradine#cite_note-TheNation-0)
David Carradine's manager Chuck Binder, said he believed Carradine's death was from natural causes, and not from a suicide as reported in the Thai press. [7] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Carradine#cite_note-NewBizarre-6)

Carradine, 73, was staying in Bangkok while shooting a movie. The film crew became aware of his absence when they went to dine out at a restaurant yesterday. When a producer went to his room, he discovered that the actor had died.

Does anyone know where Uma Thurman is? Just sayin'....

Carradine was one of a kind. Martial arts expert, free spirit, and general whackjob. The closest thing we have left is Gary Busey but he's more weird than cool.

If Heaven is what we want it to be, Carradine's probably strolling across some barren landscape like at the beginning of a "Kung Fu" episode... although, this time, he's strolling towards a platform covered in hot sexy women and all the food and mind-alterers a man could want. :) RIP to one of the truly unique characters born to humanity.

Carradine stole the role in Kung Fu that was supposed to go to Bruce Lee

The same demons that haunted Bruce Lee's family finally caught up to Carradine...

Bruce would later pitch a television series of his own tentatively titled The Warrior. According to Caldwell, Lee's concept was retooled and renamed Kung Fu, but Warner Bros. gave Lee no credit.

For years the Dalton's gravesite in Coffeyville didn't even have a headstone. Just a piece of pipe forming an arch with both ends in the ground. You wouldn't even know who it was unless somebody told you. Relatives have since put up a headstone.

One of my all time favorite Westerns was the classic "Shane" with Alan Ladd. I didn't know that David Carradine played Ladd's character in a TV series. Apparently it only lasted 17 episodes, but I wouldn't mind a DVD release of it.

:spock: Carradine was rich (maybe not by Hollywood standards but certainly by ours), famous, well-liked, popular, found work as an actor (again, maybe not in Oscar-winners but he kept working), and lived to be 72.

May the demons "haunt" me in a similar fashion and "catch up" to me at that age.

There might have been a few in the room who took off when he died.

Gotta hand it to the man: he lived in style, and he died in style.

Think about it. When you're 72, do you want to:

a.) Quietly go to sleep in the rocking chair of an old folk's home, or
b.) Go to the beyond in a Thailand hotel with a noose on your nuts?

I'd opt for b, it's a lot better story to tell once you get where you're going...

As a kid I loved his Kung Fu show. All the guys I grew up with boxed and when you got into a fight it was a fist fight. To watch Bruce Lee and that tv show was cool because of the way they fought. Lee was much better at it than Carradine but it was still fun to watch. Strange thing is most of us still looked down at guys who tried to kick during a fight. We thought it was cheating  Anyway sad news to hear he has passed.
