THIS STUPID THING IS PISSING ME OFF

I cannot figure out how to open the nat on my router. Its a linksys ehterfast cable/dsl router with 4-port switch. Windows Vista compatible. Model BEFSR41. I've been to the control panel online and there was not a thing that said NAT. They don't have any info on their website on how to do it. They don't have a phone number to call and get tech support. I'm about to throw this thing out the window. It's a strict NAT, I want it to be open. Why can't there just be a god damn option to simply put open/moderate/strict.

You have to port forward your xbox or our Ps3.

www.portfoward.com

that should help.

Had a problem with that same device, ended up getting another device and the problem was solved.

Use the web based utility to add your IP to the DMZ.
I believe the linksys setup is 192.168.1.1
You should be able to leave the username field blank and the password is "admin"-- assuming you never set it up.
