Hostels in Rome?

One last question for the travelers out there. In the off chance someone has some good ideas, I'm looking to stay at a hostel for a few nights in Rome. Has anyone stayed at any they recommend? I've done research on the internet but was wondering if anyone here as any first hand experience. I'm going to be there for three days and two nights by myself then meeting up with my friend in Florence.

Stayed in a hotel while I was there, so don't have first hand experience at hostels, but you could check out Couchsurfing (http://www.couchsurfing.org/index.html)... I know a few people who have used it, including one who used it several times while backpacking through Europe.
