Lets address one game at a time and get each posters best guess and why, when we get to 20 or so we will post the results and move to the next game.

09/13/09 at Baltimore Ravens 12:00 PM CBS
Ravens were 11-5 last year
Most betting lines pick the ravens by 8.5 pts

:banghead: They are too tough on all 3 sides of the ball and its a home game
- I pick 21-10 loss

We won't score much mostly because of they're defense but I don't think they'll score much because of they're offense. Right now I'd have to say this game won't be much to watch. 16-3 ravens.

A battle of safeties....Ravens with three, Chiefs with one: Chiefs trail 6-5 as they drive for a winning TD...

Cassel throws a pick-6 in a 4th and goal situation from the 9 yard line, with 2 seconds on the clock.

A 109 yd return by former Chief William Bartee, who makes the Ravens roster in a comeback attempt and is playing in the goalline package on the last play. He ripped the ball away from Brad Cottam on a fade in the corner of the endzone...you know, the play that Tony G always use to make.

11-6, Ravens.

Ravens: I don't know anything about the Ravens new DC.

The key question (in my opinion) -- how well the Ravens will do without Bart Scott on defense -- More importantly, will Suggs get on board after being franchised?

It'll be interesting to see how the Jets defense do -- Rex picked up some pretty good players -- they also have a pretty good secondary... Who knows ...

The Giants went on to win the Super Bowl against the Broncos after winning only 3 games the year before.

What was the line last year when we went into Foxboro to open the season, against a Patriots team that had only lost one game the year before, it was greater than 8.5 wasn't it? We are better this year and the Ravens are not the Patriots. With that being said, I think the CHIEFS win the opener 27-13, Flacco helps by throwing 2 pics after being rattle by a surprising pass rush!

Chiefs were 16.5 point underdogs and were a Bowe dropped TD pass from tying the game!

If it was 4-6, 4th down at the 9 with only a dozen seconds left, I'd be pissed we went for it allowing the pick 6 to make the final score 11-6, we should hit the FG making the score 4-9, and leaving the Ravens with little time to score with thier O.

"I would be better with you against him."

This means that Mr. Smed1065 would prefer that Mr. GoChiefs actually thought less of Cassel since Mr. Smed1065 desires that Cassel will prove to be a more successful quarterback than some previous players whom Mr. GoChiefs has supported in the past like, for example, Downfield Damon.

THIS RIGHT HERE! THIS!!!! I got the Chiefs winning 24-17. There WILL be a surprise pass rush, but no surprise to me.

Chiefs were 16.5 point underdogs and were a Bowe dropped TD pass from tying the game!

PLEASE go back and watch this game. The Chiefs could, and SHOULD have won it. If I had to point the finger at anyone, it would be Dbowe and his three crucial drops in this game, and Davard Darling getting run don. The Patriots were 16-0 the previous year. This TEAM IS GOING TO BE FINE.

For those that feel the need, go ahead and cash in your season in June. Not way, NO HOW here.

Just a friendly advice. Most of the guys love picking on n00bs, but it's just their way of "hazing" new people. I wouldn't take anything serious on that. Just enjoy it.

And to answer to your question, while it's too early to tell right now, I can almost say that the Chiefs probably will struggle in this game.
