How is it that Kansas City fans always single out a guy that isn't the problem and try to make him the scapegoat?
Jacobs is doing what he was brought in to do. If you think that he is our problem, you don't know the game. People did the same thing to DDJ last year. There are plenty of problems with this team. Jacobs is way down the list.

well, to be fair we at least have reason to hope that Hernandez is not the worst offensive non-pitching player in baseball. Not much better, but better. Kind of like total crap or just kind of crappy but mostly unknown.

Because Hillman is about 25 years behind the curve when it comes to baseball strategy. He's never heard of sabermetrics, and he thinks that the sacrifice bunt is an excellent first inning strategy in the American League.

Top FA acquisition at SS. And I don't give a **** how much it costs, assuming player X is a legit option for the next 3-4 years.
Can't really fix ti this year, but Scutaro and Wilson (PIT) will be on the market next year. I think Scutaro will cost some $$$, but you might be able to get Wilson cheap. He's not a great hitter (but much better than what we have), but a really excellent glove.

Well, the Tigers got shelled and the Indians lost, so we are securely out of the running for last place for now, and only 4.5 games back. With Detroit slumping, the Twins could overtake them by the end of the week (they leave STL only to face the Brewers).

Well, it's because it's the most popular series of the year. Unless you get SEASON tickets, they're gonna make the money off of single game tickets to this series to make more money.

Meche has dominated interleague play, improving to 14-4. His .778 winning percentage against the National League tops all active pitchers with at least 20 interleague starts.

Huh?
Season ticket PACKAGES (meaning not full season) will rarely have the most sought after games in them, especially the Cards series. EVERY MLB club does this - not just the Royals.

Quit the contrary. That was one of the selling points of the package and I have had the Cards games the last 2 years. After I researched some it seems I was the only 1 of the 4 packages that did not get Cards tickets. Somehow I was rotated onto a different plan package this year. I will spare the details but if you knew the crap I hve gone through with the Royals this year just go get my tickets renewed you would see why I have a lot of frustration over this.

Wow. My apologies then. That seems unusual. It's been forever since I've had season tickets to the Royals, since I haven't lived in KC since I was 18. However, when we had packages to the Sox/Cubs, they rarely had the big series included. Every so often they might, but it wasn't standard practice.

Talked to my Royals Lancer, he said to call the team and raise holy hell, that there is no excuse for me not to have tickets since I only have 2 seats. If I had 4 then I would be ass-out. Also some inside info, I guess there are several Lancers upset and retiring after this year because I guess they hired 3 guys from California to run the ticket "stuff" and they are pissing off a lot of the season ticket holders.
Called the Royals and they offered to do an exchange for the Cards game but the tickets were for shit. Basically they changed the plan I was on and did little to communicate the impacts of that to me.
