F*ck you direct TV. When you want 7 TV's hooked up, you can't do Satellite. I wish I didn't have cable every day.

Thanks for the heads up Laz!

You would think Direct TV would advertise such a preview. I am thinking since it is Fathers Day on Sunday the idea guys figure a lot of Dads will get a chance to watch the tube.

According to who? You can get multiswitches that will easily cover 7 TVs - I believe mine has 8 outputs...

All I know is I have 8 cable tv's in my house, so they had to put in 8 outlets when I moved in. I only need 4 of them to have HD boxes. Cable costs me about $140 a month including internet. When I called the rep from Direct TV and said I needed 8 TV's to run on satellite they were flabbergasted and asked if I ran a business or something. They said it would be cheaper if I got cable by quite a bit....?

It's a pretty good movie for free. Kevin James is a funny MF'er so it makes it worth it somewhat.

Yea that is what I would say as well.

Just for the hell of it I went to the directv website to see what 8 would cost. It says you are only allowed 6, kinda odd really, why should they care how many tvs you have.

Dark Knight was on HBO last night.

It might be that 6 is the limit on the free install deal. I started watching Dark Knight but switched away from it. Looked like a shoot 'em up.

But they get to choose which weekend they offer the programming for free...

But they get to choose which weekend they offer the programming for free...True, but it wouldn't make much sense, on their part, to intentionally select a weekend with a bad line up. Considering Directv is trying to pimp their own product...

ROFL. We just cancelled all our premium pay channels (HBO, Cinemax, Showtime) because we were paying $30 per month extra for rubbish 3rd rate movies. Really, after Flight of the Conchords and The Tudors, we never turned on those channels, so it was no longer a value to us. It's not DirecTVs fault, I think stuff is going to DVD and Blu-Ray so quickly now and the license agreements often get exclusivity which prevents usage on Pay TV and VoD, all that's left for those networks is crap like Saw 5 and "The Next Friday"

What channel is the Aussie Rules Football on? Took me about 20 minutes or so, but set my DVR for the whole weekend. Some pretty good stuff to have during the summer tv season.

Thanks for the heads up!

Hmm. What do you pay per month including internet? I have the dish still hooked on the side of my house, not being used.
