Well, I'm sure the companies are between a rock and a hard place. I can't imagine he was a cheap hire, so they probably need to get their money out of his ads. On the other hand, it does seem a bit odd.

not uncommon. The aussie that was a lawyer on JAG that killed himself appeared in vacuum commercials for a couple of years after his death.

saw a new Vince commercial the other day and he looks cleaned up. The death of billy may's is certianly a plot by vince to take over the world......
