5. Rockhurst (Kansas City, Mo.)
Enrollment: 1,055
State Championships in 2008-09: Tennis, golf, soccer, swimming and diving
In claiming its 15th straight tennis title and adding a repeat win on the links, Rockhurst (an all-boys school) proved to be comfortable on the country-club circuit. Adding to the Hawklets depth was the championship swimming and diving team. The soccer team went 27-4 as midfielder Alex Sweetin took home player of the year honors and Christian Krueger collected top goalkeeper honors.

If Rockhurst's enrollment were restricted by very defined boundaries I'd be impressed. They're not, so I'm not.

So the students don't have to live within a certain radius like schools in OK?

Well, when you're playing against public schools and you go recruit the best athletes to play at your school, that's what you get.

No, Rockhurst is a parochial school and kids from both Missouri and Kansas can go there. They could draw from the entire metro if they wanted.

7. Collins Hill (Suwanee, Ga.)

Enrollment: 3,716
State Championships in 2008-09: Track and field (girls), soccer (boys), wrestling, basketball (boys)

Senior sprinter Symone Glover ran away with plenty of awards in track. The Howard University recruit excelled as an individual (100-meter and 200-meter state titles) and a relay-team member (4x100 and 4x400 relays) for the Eagles. Boys basketball, wrestling and boys soccer also added to the state-championship total.

King of the country club sports.

Yea they pad a lot of championship titles with a good number of sports not many in the Kansas City area or state even play...like Lacrosse.

Go out and watch the Rockhurst wrestling team if someone in the area needs a good laugh.
