Did you all really think we we're going to win the division with TWO quality starting pitchers? I'm mean, realistically, I think many know, baseball takes some time. Moore, believe or not has put some pretty decent pieces of the puzzle together and I expect next year, (if we can get a stud or two in FA),to put us in contention for rallying for the division. I expect 2011, for us to making a push for a pennant race.


Please look at the team and remember it takes time to develop in the Majors...

Meche...a starting pitcher on any team, probably a number two guy.

Grienke...developed into a quality starter under Moore's watch and looks to improve, did I mention, Dayton locked him up this year?

Hochevar, contrary to popular belief, is developing into a pretty good pitcher and in a pretty short time, especially considering the Royals, pitchers of recent past.

So that's 3 starters on most teams in baseball. Add a premium pitcher in a Josh Beckett(if available, there's an option) and that line-up becomes legit.especially if the rookie from Mizzou can come on in for 2011.

Add a Beltre, for power and things become alot clearer in 2011.
