Party Kick-Off Sat @ 2p.m till Sunday ???
Nzoner's Place in St Joseph

WHAT TO BRING:

A cooler with whatever you're drinking,a lawn chair (if possible),overnight stuff(blankets etc) if crashing here(including tents etc. if you want to camp out.)Cash for food or bring your own snacks and the like(I have it worked out with a pizza client of ours that they'll deliver out here.)Fishing gear if you'd like to fish in our pond.

Due to recent attendance of the Bash and the recession this years event will be FREE in hopes of having a great turn out, however, that means no food or drink will be provided,so if the above doesn't work for you please make plans. We have a store and a few restaurants within 5 miles of our property.

As always people are welcome to stay here on Saturday(yes we can offer you a shower, just bring your own towels) and either leave for the Cowboys vs. Chiefs game from here or stick around and watch all the NFL action in my gameroom. There are also numerous hotels just 8 miles up the highway.

All planeteers and a guest or 2 of theirs are welcome, just remember house rules,no fighting and the like or your ass will be kicked out, respect our place and our things or as above, you will be kicked out.

WE WILL REQUIRE RSVP's for the simple fact that we need to know how many are coming because I have a cut-off number and I don't want this turning into a free-for-all.

Please RSVP in this thread and I will add your name and guests.

We look forward to seeing some old faces and hopefully meeting some new ones and for you n00bs don't forget it's always appreciated if you can bring your host a nice bottle of booze. :D

I'm pretty sure I can make it this year. I'll expect a full refund if I can't make it though :D

I will be crashing, and pretty sure I'll be watching the game in the game room.

Since there is no fundraiser this year, maybe we can do something to raise money for the planet??? I realize the goal is to be free to up attendance though.

Like I give a shit if you think its weak.As a party host if I allow underage drinking I'm responsible, maybe when you grow up a bit you'll understand that.I was only joking, I completely understand. The only time my brother has gotten into trouble as a cop was when he first started and was dating a 20 year old and they were drinking at a friends and some people started causing trouble ending with the police getting called. Shit happens so the host always needs to do whats right.

Sounds like a shitty way to see a football game.

I go to one Arrowhead game every two years, maybe every year if the Chiefs are good. I paid $90 for a lower level seat in 2007 and I don't mind paying $200 for a lower level seat two seasons later, especially since the Cowboys make it a higher-demand ticket.

Some of you don't realize how good you have it right now. A seat in the lower level for a Texans game will run you $350+, easy.

If it makes them happy then more power to them. That is all that matters.

I don't see the point of moving down though. When I buy a seat, I sit there the entire game. There is no bad seat in Arrowhead. I do prefer the upper level though.

I know you've heard me say it before but try the upper endzone, when I had my season tickets there every person I ever took was like holy shit, these are awesome. It only goes up about 18 rows and you watch the game through the qb's eyes.I kid you not I had numerous chances to "upgrade" my seats and never moved and yes I've seen games between the 20's in the lower bowl.

Yep we had 305-great seats-right by the pisser and beer stand. Lower level is great if you are towards the middle-if you are in the endzone-it makes it hard to see the other end of the field.

Yeah for the Cowboys game it is going to be hard to find much cheaper than that and have your ticket before you go to the stadium. I got lucky and we are getting the company tickets for that game.

I agree with you on that. The first game I went to that's were we sat and it was pretty cool seeing everything from that angle. 20-20 is what you get on tv. Endzone is different and made it fun. are you going to come too??

It depends on how much it'll cost me. I am considering it, if I can get a flight in Saturday, a ride to Joe's, a ride to the game, and then maybe a taxi or something to the airport. It's going to require some things coming together to fall into my budget, but if I can swing it, yeah I'm gonna come out this year. I'd like to meet some of you fuckers. :D

I guess I could, if there's a significant price difference. I just don't like being so far away from the action at the other end of the stadium.

This.

I sat in 333 Row 9 for years. Best view of the action, IMO.

For what GC is looking to spend on one ticket, he could buy a 5-game pack in the 3rd row of the upper endzone and sell the other 4 games.

I appreciate the offer. It's actually pretty cheap to fly. $200 and some change round trip, nonstop. The trick is going to be coordinating a ride to Joe's on Saturday, then to the game on Sunday. From there, if I have to take a taxi to the airport I can live with that. But, I'm also having a hard time finding a flight out Sunday night. I figure I'll need a flight sometime after 6pm?

I don't know, I'm just trying to do this as inexpensively as possible.

Well, let me know if I can help. Depending on your flight times, I could help out with the ride to Joe's and to Arrowhead.

Keep me posted.

That's awesome. I'll happily pay for gas, and any expenses. Very much appreciated. I know the flight comes into KCI at around 5:30, but I still have to track down a flight back. I'll hit you up when I know more. Thanks again dude, I'm really hoping to make it this year.

So for you guys flying out, are you flying out sunday night or monday sometime?

We're flying out on Monday.

Sadly, we probably won't make the bash. We don't get in until 4:30, go to the motel (by Arrowhead), then want to get some barbeque. Then the pervs want to go look at 'ginas.

Anyway, would love to meet some of you clowns before the game.

I think TinyE's comes in at like 2 or 3pm. If you end up needing a lift from the airport, let me know. Joe's is about 30-45 minutes from the airport. I can wait to start drinking until after I pick you up. That is, if OTWP is unable to for some reason.

You should have heard Mrs Nzoner the first time I told her I was hosting the bash,"so you're inviting close to 100 people you've never met into our home?"

To which I replied,"well I've already met 3 or 4 of them."

Am I going to have a hard time finding a ticket at the stadium? I'm not liking the prices I'm seeing right now at all, let alone the fact that I can't buy a single game ticket for this game.

Probably for any other game you could, but since Dallas has <strike>obnoxious front-running</strike> dedicated fans all over the country these tickets will probably remain in high demand.

If your plane lands around 2pm, you can hop on the luv train to Joe's. There will be a caravan to the game from his place.

And I think TinyEvel said something about finding a shuttle (full of drunks) to the airport after one Chiefs game. Even if you can’t find that, I’m sure there will be other people going there and you could find a taxi to split. Or one of the Planeteers heading the the airport from Joe's.

I am sure it was a good mix of people-but I think the Kansas people stuck out more-because they had their jayhawk coats on. The basketball team was very good those years so they were just supporting their team.

Me I ALWAYS wear Chiefs stuff. Red only-but I don't paint up my face like in the early days. Makes you feel stoopid when you are decked out with face paint and the Chiefs just had their asses handed to them.
