I have a weird growth spurt on my heirloom roses [they're older than I am]. It kind of reminds me of those spider cactuses. I attach a picture below. The part in the middle is pretty clear. The blurry part in the lower middle is a cluster of would be branches all stemming from the same place. It's replicated a little more clearly in the upper left.

Concerns? Remedies? Nothing to worry about?

It's mutating. Kill it now before it uproots itself and thorns you to death in your sleep.

I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but you've got Rose Etta Stones, Mr. Baby Lee.

Unfortunately, no one alive understands this disease. All you can really do is wait for an epiphany.

Rose bushes are evil. If you even get near one it will jump out and thorn you.
