I am with Verizon, I have reduced the bill, and I still can't afford this friggin bill. Will Sprint or T-mobile buy out the contract? I think there is like 14 months left on it, and I can't justify keeping it.

I can't believe anyone still signs those things. Pay-as-you-go is how I roll.

I don't know that I've ever heard of a phone company buying out another's contract, unless that's been a few years, because they all want their money - and they actually don't do much to fight each other except offer different devices and slightly different rate plans. I've been shopping them a lot lately b/c I hate Sprint. Everyone I know has had a discrepancy in their billing, myself included, and if you are going to sign a contract, just go with AT&T. The rate plans everywhere are the same virtually, and AT&T has rollover minutes. Case closed from my seat.

This is true for smart phones anyway, I haven't really shopped the rest. I called to discuss my concerns with Sprint, and at the end of the call the thick accent on the other side wished me luck with my future bills and service - sorry, never again. I wanted to support them because they have such a great presence in KC, but what's the point if I'm taking it in the a$$ every few months?
