Basketball? Doesn't it take into account the whole athletic department? Also a BCS win helps.

I'm surprised how low Oklahoma is.

Maybe the fact that was their first good season in a LOOOOOONG time and went to the Orange Bowl that year certainly didn't hurt them at all.

Most conferences have an equal split amongst all of it's teams for bowl appearances.
