Will Leitch should stick to writing

Will Leitch and AJ Daulerio are hosting the Dan Patrick show today, and Jason Whitlock is one of their guests. None of them said anything all that interesting or controversial worth talking about. Mostly I just wanted to take this opportunity to say what a terrible tv/radio presence Will Leitch has. He bumbles and stumbles and stutters and just has such awkward radio mannerisms.

Buzz Bissinger got hammered for being a jerk in the classic Costas interview with Leitch, but what struck me more than that is how terrible Leitch was. He couldn't even complete a thought. He'd get 5 words in and start stammering and rambling all over the place.

I dont' begrudge the man his opportunities to build his media personality, but he needs some training.

Yeah, I've heard him do radio shows before and he doesn't say much, it seems. It's kind of like, "Where's all the smart aleck stuff you write on Deadspin?" The times I've heard him it's like he all of a sudden wants to be diplomatic or something.
