Anybody been to the new Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa yet?

It's been open for two weeks. I'm thinking about heading down (from Wichita) in a couple weeks. Was kinda curious. Is it anything like Vegas? is it worth the trip or should I just stop at Four Clans north of Newkirk and call it good?

You know it's a shithole when you would rather opt to drive through Muskogee as I did on Tuesday. Although Oral Roberts claimed to see a 900 foot Jesus in Tulsa so I guess they've got that going for them.

Was there a couple of week ago....it is the old Cherekee Casino (just changed its name)

It is OK (it is not Vegas)

When we were there, the Toby Keith Bar was not open yet but it looked to be pretty good when it opened. It is inside the Casino.

For a non-vegas casino it was pretty good...don't know if it would rate a road trip from wichita. :shrug:

Also, if you wait a week or so you can attend the US Amateur Golf tournament in Tulsa. I don't think they ever play that in Witchita.
