I'm not saying they aren't going to sign anybody, but I think the promotions of Darling and Copper have more to do with giving them a look in order to judge if they would be good backups to Bowe and Toomer, rather than a motivational ploy. \ I don't believe for a minute that Bowe gets benched come week 1.

Right now, just based on what I know about these guys without seeing pratices, I'd say the Bowe and Bardley will be the top 2 receivers, with Engram in the slot and Toomer as the 4th, who will get a lot of snaps in 3rd down situations.

Darling, Copper and Wright are competing for the 5th spot, while Quentin Lawrence probably lands on the practice squad.

Haley was seeing if the young guys can step up against a #1 defense. He has years of film on Toomer and Engram. He knows they can run accurate routes and get open and catch the ball. The other guys, not so much.

That's how I see it. I think he'll be on the field in the 2nd pre-season game, since he'll have a few more days to study the playbook.
