No shit! I can't even tell you how much advice I need from him pertaining to home theater stuff. I've passed up on so many deals lately just b/c I had noone to ask whether or not the hardware was what I want/needed. Kinda miss that asshole! :D

So, yeah, I’ve been lurking semi-frequently lately, as this is still the best site to get info on the team. I don’t know if I’ll ever be a regular poster again. There’s nothing wrong with it, but at the same time, the entertainment value of this place has diminished for me and there’s no need in getting worked up over a message board. That’s cool though. I watched the first third of the game last night. I can’t give any opinions on how the scrubs played, but I’ll say this..

The interior line is worse than at any point I’ve ever seen it while watching this team. There’s a reason why Mike Goff was let go, and for the life of me, I can’t understand how Niswanger ever started for an NFL team, even this one. Waters shows time and time again that he’s to Willie Roaf as David Spade was to Chris Farley.

He was lackluster in the running game, but all the pressure and sacks on Cassel game from either blown assignments (Charles), or guys just getting manhandled (Goff, Niswanger, Waters). Your tackles are almost always going to be in close proximity to the QB, that’s why the pocket is a pocket…it’s a less exaggerated parabola shape, which allows the QB to step up, so long as the interior line holds their position (and they failed miserably).<!--[endif]-->

The tackles have to drop and chop step back to handle the speed of the edge rushers, otherwise they give up all their leverage.

Moving on. <st1:place w:st="on">Cassel</st1:place> displayed very good footwork, and good pocket awareness, which is a positive step given that his was poor last year. The only thing I haven’t seen, which is the truest test of a QBs arm strength, are these three throws from a set position in the pocket:

Throwing the deep ball really isn’t all that relevant to a QBs arm strength. Hell I saw Chase Daniel throw a football 4 yards less than Josh Freeman in a skills comp, and their arms are in different multiverses. The throws that you can’t lob, that require crisp velocity and precision timing are those three, and they are virtually undefensible if performed correctly.
Not to say he can't do them, but our offense will be limited until we show that we can do them.
Hell, the entire Greatest Show On Turf was built around the square in and the skinny post.

Ray Edwards isn't even that good. Hell, he wasn't even using inside moves. Richardson will face better pass rushers. His feet looked slow if you ask me.
I wouldn't say B-Rich was completely horrible, but he wasn't impressive by any stretch.
