View Full Version : Chiefs Let's Re-Evaluate Shall We?

Now that we have gone through all of this pre season douchebaggery with QB's and DB's getting hurt, our O-Line looking as futile as they did last year and the sudden coaching change, how many wins can we expect this year?

Poll Forthcoming...

What really is there to re-evaluate.

They might have won 4 games with Cassel.

They might only win 1-3 now.

BFD.

I'm just glad that Haley is holding EVERYONE accountable, not just the players.

Gailey's playcalling was just as predictable as last year. A few buddies and I were at the game Saturday, and were calling the plays with close to 80% accuracy. If the fucking fans know what's coming, I'm pretty sure that opposing defenses know it as well.

I did. Picked 9 a couple of months ago, and I am sticking with it. I like what I am seeing in the games with the exception or TT.

Given how soon final cuts will be made, I'll just hold off until I see who the Chiefs pull off the wire.

FYI, Deion Branch is rumored to be a possible cut.

Not it...

I said 4.

Who the fuck picked 0?

4 only because we play the Fade and Donks twice.

Baltimore was a loss anyway so I'm sticking with 4-5 wins. I am a little more optimistic overall with Haley taking over for Gailey.

I wish I could be more optimistic, but I picked 4. This is based on if we end up winning the next preseason game, making us 1-4.

4.

And that's with the football Gods really going to work for us.

People, people, people. You can't accomplish great things unless you expect great things. 16-0 and a Super Bowl win.

The 1st part of our schedule is the toughest. We were gonna be lucky to get 2 wins before the bye all along. After the bye, Cassel's been back and the kinks worked out.

7 wins.

I would lay down and masturbate at 7 wins....

constantly.

As a matter of fact, I just did while thinking about it.

It's a shame there's no door on my new office yet.
Here comes the HR meeting.

It should have been a public poll.

The last poll I voted 6 wins, I am now down to 3.

I'm still sticking with 6 wins, because we play Denver and Oakland twice. Cleveland and Cincy aren't exactly powerhouses either ... And maybe, just maybe our defense keeps us close enough in some other games to miraculously eek out an unimaginable win ... Either that or we could easily go 0-16 I guess ....

3 but thats about what I was expecting before all these shenanigans

Mac: But our shenanigans are cheeky and fun.
Thorny: Yeah, his shenanigans are cruel and tragic.
Foster: Which wouldn't make them shenanigans, at all, really.
Mac: (Irish voice) Evil shenanigans!
O'Hagen: I swear to God, I'll pistol whip the next guy that says 'shenanigans!'
Mac: Hey Farva, what's the name of that restaurant you like with all the goofy shit on the walls and the mozzarella sticks?
Farva: You mean Shenanigans's?
Mac, Foster and Thorny: Oh, no! (Laughing) (Mac hands O'Hagen his gun.)
Farva: You're talking about Shenanigans's, right?
O'Hagen: Put those away!

Six. Four division wins and the home games against Cleveland and Buffalo in December.

I'm really surprised with all the pessimism around here. We had to invent ways to lose games last year to the Buccs, Jets, Chargers, and Dolphins. And we could have won games against the Chargers and Patriots with a bit of late magic.

And that was with Herm coaching, and TT playing QB.

So far in the pre-season games, when the starters were in, we have looked just as good as the teams we have been playing. And that is all that really matters in pre-season. Starters on starters. Plus, we actually look like we know how to manage a game this season.

I guess maybe it's just me, but I see much better things from the Chiefs this year.

Me too.

Funny that I was happy about Haley holding players and coaches accountable in the PS.

He quit doing that pretty much immediately.
