This franchise would have been led by Carl, Herm and Thiggy had Clark not intervened.

While I like him as a backup, I'm also not stupid enough to judge him too much while playing a preseason game with cracked ribs.

The dude couldn't throw accurately enough to ping Mr. Jingles the racist clown in a county fair let alone a wide open receiver.

Maybe if they would have had a Chiefs' receiver wear #88 he might have completed one.

Well, the "spooge"(how appropriate ROFL)is labeled "spread". As in the only kind of offense Thigpen can play in, and the type of offense Gailey instituted for him when he took over last year.

I would say Thigpen is the Mencia of QB's, but even Mencia has some talent at the professional level, as little or stolen as it may be...

Franchise?? He was probably the best of what we had last year.. But I think almost everyone wanted to draft or get another QB in there.. Who said Thig was a franchise QB over the offseason??

"You know what's funny?"

Guy goes to his doctor.

Doctor says "I have bad news". "You have cancer and Alzeimers".

The guy replies, "Well, at least I don't have cancer".

(OK, heard that on some movie my wife rented...)

Well, here is my issue in general. We have Brodie who has trouble staying healthy and do the touch passes necessary to score near the end zone, but can throw one heck of a nice hard pass. Then we have Thigpen who can do those touch passes and make plays with his legs, but doesn't seem to be able to be consistent with his other passes. We have 2 incomplete backup QB's, one might move you between the 20's and never score a TD, the other will do anything to try to get the TD, but will never hit a guy in stride on a nice long pass. It's all very irritating, but I find the ire for the guy very amusing. The fact that he is the reason that Huard is no longer with us helps me like him just a little more.

Last night it didn't look like Brodie could make any passes at all.
