Had an interesting day today, went to the airport here in Cody this AM to pick up a Corporate-Air pilot, and noticed a sweet private jet parked there. John the pilot I was picking up mentioned that it belonged to Hunt Oil, and they just landed after flying in from Love field in Dallas. I told him who Hunt Oil was, as in Lamar/Clark Hunt & the Chiefs, and asked if he knew what was going on. He said they were here for the day for some meeting out at one of the ranches they own.

About that time, in walked the pilot of Hunts plane. John introduced me and told him I was a huge Chiefs fan and all. He was very cool and asked if I wanted to check out the Jet. Of course I did, so I gave me a brief look and WOW!! Sweet ride, It's a Challenger aircraft, not sure more info than that. Anyway I had to get going as did the pilot, but he asked for my Business card and said he would tell Mr. Hunt he had run into a huge Chiefs fan here in Cody. Also said that next time they get to Cody he would see if he could introduce me, as Clark always likes to find fans away from the KC area.

Additionally I got a call about 1/2 hour ago from the owner of Choice Aviation, the private company that's the FPO for the private aircraft, and said Mr. Hunt had left me a Autographed Chiefs Pic there at the office for me.

Very cool day all in all, and hope to get to follow up and meet him in person next time, as they fly into to Cody about once a month. Hunt Oil owns a ton of land in this area. Kinda cool day and thought I would share it with some fellow fans, as everyone here at work was like"big Deal":#

Gratz, JOhn. Not sure what I'd do if I ran into Pat Bowlen right now. Might shake his hand, might kick him in the nuts.

I'm pretty sure someone posted a pic of Clark's jet back during the Pioli watch.

This is the one that was posted back in the day. It's a Citation rather than a Challenger though.

Is there still a bar in Cody called Cassie's. I think that was the name. Great place. I also liked the gun museum there. It was awesome.

Yup that looks like it, though the Dark strip incenter looked more red. But then again it could be a "lighting" thing.

The other one, is nothing like the one I saw today. And it was a "Hunt Oil" aircraft.

Yup, was originally a whore house when it was built & owned by madame named Cassie.
It's kinda tourist thing more than any other bar here in Cody. VERY expensive to drink there especially during the summer, in the winter it tends to be a local "redneck" cowboy bar.

I haven't been there in several years, as the music & crowd are not my thing.

Speaks well of Clark Hunt because it was not done to gain publicity.

..you'll be taken aback at hwe informal and friendly the Hunt family is..

I was at Red Friday last year, and out of the blue, Norma Hunt comes right up to me and thanks me for my support, commented on how well made the JS's are...etc..just very endearing.
